EBD

I am being told each number can only be used once. F is obviously 0

As I count it, there are 9 letters between A and I.

Since we are given 10 symbols (0 - 9) - we must not use one of the symbols then.

Is that correct?

Is this the line up

Code:
[FONT=courier new]    E B D
   x  G A
--------
    G D E
  H C I F
-------
  H D B E
[/FONT]

so that the F just indicates the 10's shift when multiplying a number?
