Have you studied Order of operation (PEMDAS)? You'll need to apply that over here. First evaluate the denominator - then evaluate the whole expression.

I've seen people type a period for a multiplication sign. Is that what you did?

OR, perhaps you're trying to say that (6+2) is multiplied by 0.3 ?

In general, I think that using a period to show multiplication is not good notation. I suggest using an asterisk, instead.

120/[(6 + 2) * 3]

Is this the expression, in your exericse? 8-)
