Math Words versus Math Notation

The common tongue dictates what grammar is. It's only when we start sending letters and emails is when someone gets on their high horse. And that's what I love about maths, you can't argue with its notation.

Unfortunately, people do! And probably more harshly than about grammar, since they think there should be no disagreements about math.
