hey guys i was just wondering if any of you guys could help me with this question?
The sum of the base and the height of a triangle is 21 cm. Determine the maximum area of the triangle, in square centimetres.
Like i understand what i have to do and in some way i have to complete the square (lol i think) but im just having problems with finding the equations. I know exactly what im doing but then as soon as i see a word problem i get all confused. So maybe could one of you guys help me get started or show me how you know how to make the equations? lol i dont know. Thanks anyways though if i confused you.
