given the following set of data where x represents the number of items sold and y(x) represents the profit when x items are sold
X # of items Y(profit)
0 -1350
1 -800
2 -350
3 0
4 250
5 400
6 450
7 400
for letter A i already got the answer the quadratic formula which is y=-50x+600x+350
B. create a specific algebraic model for profit as a function of the number of items sold.show your work and clearly define variables
C. the break-even point is when profit is zero. what is/are the break even points?explain your answer

Your submission contains too many errors (sloppy typing and misstatements, I assume) for me to invest time trying to decipher it.

Perhaps, someone will fix it for you, but I'm not going to try to figure out what you actually meant to type.

If you proofread and correct your post, then I will reconsider helping you.

EGs:

1) You talk about part (A), but you kept it secret.

2) The phrases "quadratic formula" and "quadratic equation" do not mean the same thing.

3) The equation that you typed is not quadratic.

4) Even if I assume that -50x is supposed to mean -50x^2, the equation still does not generate your posted data.

5) It appears, to me, that you gave the answer to part (B) for part (A), instead. But who knows?

Also, please read the post titled, "Read Before Posting". It outlines your responsibilities for seeking help at this site. The two most important points in that post are (1) show your work, and (2) ask specific questions on your own. This helps us to figure out why you're stuck and where to begin helping you.

I reviewed your previous posts at this site. You never show any work. You make "URGENT" requests for help. Based on your previous replies, it is my opinion that your posts to date constitute a waste of time.

Did you mean: y = -50x^2 ....... ?
Even at that, if x=0, then your equation means y = 0 + 0 + 350 = 350; but y = -1350 when x=0 : SEE THAT?
As Mark indicates in his post: you are NOT ready for this

Does your teacher know that you're trying to get your homework done for you?
