a. You are being asked to find the slope of the line:
[MATH]m=\frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/MATH]
b. Once you have the slope from part a., then use the point-slope formula:
[MATH]y=m(x-x_1)+y_1[/MATH]
c. Once you have \(y\) as a function of \(x\) in part b., then substitute for \(x\) and evaluate the function to get \(y\).
