I have this problem for homework and I have tried several ways to get the answer but I keep getting it wrong, please help!

Problem:
Suppose that a demand function is given by p=700 minus the square root of x. Where x is the demand for a product and p is the price per unit in dollars. Find the marginal revenue.

I do not know how the answer is obtained. Thanks for any help!

That's really nice that you can put your homework up here. Now, why don't you give it a try? If you REALLY don't have ANY idea how to proceed, you must be in the wrong class and you should go rethink your career options. If you have been attending class and reading the book - if you have internalized anything from the curriculum, you simply MUST have SOME idea. Let's see your efforts.
