A manager interviews in random order 5 candidates for a promotion. What is the likely hood that the most experienced candidate will be interviewed first followed by the second most experienced?


This even can only occur in one way right?

there are 5! possible oders that the interviews csn be called in

Would it not be: \(\displaystyle \frac{3!}{5!}\).
Because the three least qualified can be interviewed in any order.
