Looking for a term/word

Hi, If I have several functions (100s of them) and I want to average all the functions together to create a new single function to represent the average. What is this process called in mathematics? is there a term other than "averaging" ??

"Averaging" sounds good to me. You could also call it "taking the arithmetic mean of the functions", assuming that's the kind of average you are using.
