If you have typed into a calculator and/or a computer the following, then it won't work
(not give the correct answer):

83000/1 + 2074e ^( -1.6)(8) or 83000/(1 + 2074e^(-1.6)(8)) because of the order of operations.


For instance, for part of a list of acceptable forms, you could type

83000/[1 + 2074e^(-1.6*8)] or

83000/[1 + 2074e^((-1.6)(8))].
