take the log w/ base 9 of each side ad get
2x+1=logbase 9 27
and then what do i do???

use change of base rule on the right hand side

log base9 27 = log 27/log 9 both to base 10

= log (3)^3 / log (3)^2

= 3 log 3 / (2 log3)

= 3/2
