First combine the logs:\(\displaystyle \log_3(x^2)+\log_3(16^{1/2})\).
 
and remember the property: log[sub:gjwzph8n]b[/sub:gjwzph8n]x + log[sub:gjwzph8n]b[/sub:gjwzph8n]y = log[sub:gjwzph8n]b[/sub:gjwzph8n](xy)
