Logic Puzzle (Very Difficult)

This is a very difficult problem that I have been stuck on. Please disregard the marks I made previously on here, I got so confused on this one. Anyone who solves this is a genius because I am lost on the instructions.

Same advice: use pencils instead of pens. So that you can erase the marks and a) post a clean form, and b) start again when you are stuck.

Can you offer any insight on this one? Or can you clarify the instructions at least? This has me overthinking it badly.

The only thing I could figure out is that Anne didn't pair with Marla: I noticed that the pairing matrix for the first names is symmetric (relative to the diagonal), and pairing Anne with Marla makes it impossible to complete the pairing.

Is there anything useful on page 6, which is referenced in the instructions?
