Logarithms: entering into calculators, solving eqns, etc

I do not understand logarithms AT ALL...any help would be greatly appreciated!

How do you put them in the calculator?

How do you solve problems like "log4 65 + log4 (x + 10) = 95"?

That will vary with the particular logarithmic expression and the particular calculator model. Please review your owner's manual.

Use log rules (links above) to combine the terms on the left-hand side into one log, and then convert to the corresponding exponential form (links above). Solve the resulting linear equation.
