Log in ?

For several days now, I have had to log in every time I visit this site.
I've coming here for years and it's distressing to be greeted by
. . an armed sentry who says, "Halt! .Who goes there?"

I've had no difficulty at other sites,
. . so I conclude that the problem is here.

If I click on "New Posts" - I get in without logging in.

(I deleted my first reply because I misunderstood soroban's issue.)

I clear my caches so often that I'm accustomed to manually typing URLs and entering log-in credentials. I just tested the "Remember me" feature with OS restart, and it's working for me; after I select the URL from Chrome's list, I'm taken to the boards' front page, and I am logged-in.

Are you able to upload a screen shot of the message you're receiving?

I've seen a lot of new glitches and anomalies over the past two weeks; some come and go, others remain. Maybe time for a system restore?
 

I am still not logged in automatically.
But when I click on any post, I get logged in.
Go figure!
 
Ugh -- something is definitely broken.

Have you tried deleting any and all freemathhelp cookies, followed by manual log-in with "Remember me" box checked ?

Maybe your cookie crumbled...
