Locate any intercepts of the following function:

f(x) = 1 if -4 ≤ x < -3
f(x) = l xl if -3≤ x < 2
f(x) = √x (that’s supposed to be square root of x) if 2 ≤ x ≤ 19

To be honest, I don't even know where to begin with this problem.

Definition of intercept:

Intercepts are points where the graph intersects (or touches) the axes (x and/or y).

Begin with that definition in mind.
