A company uses two vans to transport workers from a parking lot from 7:0-900am. One van has 14 more seats that the other. The smaller van makes 2 trips every morning, while the larger van only makes one trip. The 2 vans can transport a maximum of 65 people.

Let x be the seats in the small van and y be the seats in the larger van. How many seats does the larger van have?

The question is quite confusing, referring to the sentance, "the 2 vans can transport a maximum of 65 people".

does this mean 65 people in two hours, or that the sum of the vans people is 65?
