write -3y = -1 + 5x in standard form

my solution:
standard form of a linear equation is Ax + By = C
-1 + 5x = -3y
-1 + 5x - 5 x = - 3y - 5x
-1 = -3y - 5x

i know this is an incorrect solution because it is not one of my choices on my answer sheet
what have i done wrong

my solution:

-1 + 5x = -3y <<< where did -1 come from?
-1 + 5x - 5 x = - 3y - 5x
-1 = -3y - 5x
It should be

1 = -3y - 5x ........ or

-5x - 3y = 1

Re: linear standard form

the -1 was how the problem was written-that is where it came from

-3y = -1 + 5x
i gave you the original problem in the incorrect form
i indicated that it was 1
it should have been -1
i will be more careful about my previewing before i submit from now on
thank you
