could u plz post yes if u know anything about linear programming and could help me answer a question plz

The qusetion that I have to answer is "A chemical company can produce chemical A and chemical B. They already have an order for 200kg of chemical A and and order of 100kg for chemical B, but only 700kg can be produced due to limited resources.

What are the two restraints in this question? thanx

Hello, Leana!

Did you leave out part of the problem?
\(\displaystyle \;\;\)I don't see two restraints.

"A chemical company can produce chemical A and chemical B.
They already have an order for 200kg of chemical A and and order of 100kg for chemical B,
but only 700kg can be produced due to limited resources.

What are the two restraints in this question?
Let \(\displaystyle a\) = number of kg of chemical A.
Let \(\displaystyle b\) = number of kg of chemical B.

Then: \(\displaystyle \,a\,+\,b\:\leq\:700\) . . . and that's it!

But we are given: \(\displaystyle \,a\,=\,200,\;b\,=\,100\),
so there's no difficulty in filling the order.

What exactly is the problem?

sorry i misread the question i assumed each bottle A required 200kg of a substance maybe that maybe the mistake soroban is refering to?

I need two know what the two constraints are, and the objective function is. I think the objective function is $(300x+400y) but I am not sure. i would really appreciate any one who can help thanx
