How would you solve these problems step by step

10x + =15

-12x =72

3(4-y) =5 (y+2)

4x/5 + 3/2 = 2x

1/6 -x/2 = x-5/3

10x + =15 An equals sign after a plus sign does not make sense.

-12x =72 There is only one step to isolate x.

After that, you simplify the fraction.

If you do not understand how to get the x by itself on the lefthand side, then you are not ready for any of these exercises.

3(4-y) =5 (y+2)

4x/5 + 3/2 = 2x

1/6 -x/2 = x-5/3

Please do not post a list of exercises with no work shown or no questions asked.

Are you taking a math class? Do you have a textbook? What have you tried or thought about thus far?

We are not set up to teach classroom material on these boards. If you need lessons on linear equations, you can go HERE or HERE.

If you read something that you do not understand in your lessons about solving linear equations, then please ask a specific question about it, and we will help you to understand.

Otherwise, please show your work, so that we might determine where to begin helping you.
