solve by substitution method

2x +y = 4

(x +1)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 4

so far i have

y =-2x + 4
(x + 1)^2 + (-2x + 4)^2 =4
(x^2 + 2x +1) + (4x^2 - 8x - 8x + 16) = 4
5x^2 -14x +17 =4
5x^2 - 14x +13= 0

now im lost where do i go from here

what happened to the -2 in the 2nd part of the equasion? shouldnt it be (x+1)^2+(-2x+4-2)^2=4?
