Take a real situation and write a linear equation. However I can think of anything can some one give me a start?

You can't think of a real-life event?

You can't think of an event that is very, very similar to any of the linear-equation word problems in your text?

(The whole point of this exercise is that you invent something yourself. I can't do that for you.)
