You want the cover of ports media guide to show two photos across its width. the cover is 6 1/2 inches wide and the left and right margins are each 3/4 inch. the space between th photos is 1/2 inch. How wide should you make the photos?
A.Write an an equation to model the problem.

Let the photos be of width w.

You have first a margin, then the photo, then the space, then another photo and then a last margin. They should all add to the width of the cover. Can you write the equation?
