Linear Combination of a and b

Use the diagram to express each vector as a linear combination of a and b.

b) OD
c) OE
d) OF

Please any help on how to begin this is very much appreciated.

You could resolve each oblique vector into its horizontal and vertical components.

 

[Calc12]

OC = 2a + 4b
OD = -3a + 2b
OE = -2a - 2b
OF = 4a - 2b

Figured it out
