how do i prove that 0 or 1 exist in there?

I assume Q are the rational numbers as in your post http://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=273566 at Physics Forums. Since \(\displaystyle 0 = 0 + 0\sqrt{5}\), and \(\displaystyle 0\in Q\), we have that 0 belongs to \(\displaystyle Q(\sqrt{5})\).
