Suppose a linear transformation is defined by f: (R^2)->R, if possible find an example for linear transformations that are

A.)Linear and surjective
B.)Linear and not surjective
C.)Not linear and surjective
D.)Not linear and not Surjective

This question is not hard at all. It is designed to make you think a little bit. Giving you an answer wont exactly benefit you. Why not reply with the definitions of what linear and surjective mean as well as your thoughts and/or attempts for the questions.
