Line eqn for line parallel to 7x + 3y = 2 through (2, -3)

I need to figure out how to deterimine the equation of a line that is parallel to the line 7x+3y=2 and passes through (2,-3)

and then the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the line 7x+3y=2 and passes through (2,-3).

Slope is the key.

If two lines have slopes of S1 and S2, then:

If they are parallel, S1 = S2

If they are perpendicular, S1*S2 = -1

Now, find the slopes of your hint lines and let's see what you get.
