I need help with two limit problems

#1 limit as x approaches 0 of f(x) = #2 limits as x approaches -1^-1 of 1/ x+1 _1_ - _1__
x+3 3

Totally unable to translate that, sorry.

Remember that blank space doesn't work in this environment. You have two choices. 1) Code it all in one line, using parentheses properly to convey meaning, or 2) Learn just a little LaTeX and format it like you would see it in a book.
