I, for one, am not downloading from that site. Is your problem too large?. How about just typing it out in LaTex?.

Go back to #1 and tell us - how did you find that f(x) was continuous at x = -1(what condition of continuity did you use?)? Apply the same condition.

For #6, please tell us what does the intermediate-value-theorem state?

What condition on f(x) is imposed for the theorem to be valid?
