Evaluate the cubed root of x - 1/square root of x - 1
Your formatting is unclear. What is the "cubed root"? Is this the cube of a square root? Which bits are inside this root? Is just the "1" in the numerator of the fraction? Is just sqrt[x] in the denominator? :?

When you reply with clarification of the expression, please also show your work and reasoning so far, so we can "see" where you are having trouble. Thank you!

(cbrt x) minus 1/(sqrt x) minus 1
Okay, so the expression is as follows:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \sqrt[3]{x}\, -\, \frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}\, -\, 1\)

But what are you supposed to do with this? What were the instructions? How far did you get? Where are you stuck?

Please be complete. Thank you!
