Hey, this might be an odd question but i forgot my notes at school and i cant remember how to do this..
lim (x+8)^1/3 - 2 over x
x-->0
let u=(x+8)^1/3
u^3=[(x+8)^1/3]^3
u^3= x+8
u^3-8=x
sub in equation:
lim
x->? u-2 over u^3-8
I'm not sure how to find the other limit thingy. I obviously know what it is, but some of them you cannot see right away. Is there some sort of formula to figure it out? Thanks so much, an im so sorry if this doesnt make sense and if it does ill ask tomorrow when i have my textbook.
