So I need to solve this:

lim t->1 [(t^4 - 1) / (t^3 - 1)]

this is how far I got

lim t->1 [((t-1)(t+1)(t^2 + 1)) / (t^3 - 1)]

I know it will be positive if approached from either side so is it +infinity DNE or am I missing something?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, or doesn't make sense.

Refresh on how to factor the sums and differences of cubes! (here) You'll need this often in calculus! ;)
