Please provide some context to the word lattice. What is this "lattice" referring to in this question?Can someone tell me what is the differences between lattice, point lattice and lattice point in term of their meaning. Or they are just referring to the same thing? Really confusing. Thanks.

lattice, a regularly spaced array of points.
A lattice point is a point at the intersection of two or more grid lines in a regularly spaced array of points, which is a point lattice. In a plane, point lattices can be constructed having unit cells in the shape of a square, rectangle, hexagon, and other shapes.
"Lattice" and "point lattice" seem to be synonymous in this context.

Correctso am I still correct if I say that lattice/point lattice means a group of points that is arranged in specific repeated pattern and lattice point is a single point in the lattice? please correct my mistake, thanks.
