I just came back to the site after a little while (okay, maybe not so little), but I stumbled twice on some issues where LaTeX and the automatic parsing of some keywords (I may have missed a thread about it, I tried looking for recent threads already addressing the issue but most were either system downs, or something else).
For example:
\(\displaystyle \angle{ABC}\)
\(\displaystyle \text{Area of triangle ABC} = \dfrac12 bh = \dfrac12 ab\sin\left(\hat{c}\right)\)
These work on preview, but fail when posted. Well, I can work around the second example I guess, by typing those outside the LaTeX tags and the first by using '\hat' on B or a '\widehat' but I was just wondering whether there was an option (checkbox) I'm missing somewhere which disables the parsing of key?
