Let f(x) = cubed root of (1 + x)

a. find L(x) at c=7

b. approx. delta f at c=7 / delta x=0.1

c. Find upper bound error for part b.
 
Assuming that x=c
a) f(x) =(1+7)^(1/3) =
8^(1/3) = 2

b) I think you want
delta f(x)/delta(x) =
((8.1)^(1/3) - 8^(1/3))/.1 =
(2.0083 - 2)/.1 =
.083

c) Sorry, I don't recall errors at a point. Anyone else?
