Suppose a car could accelerate from rest to 69 miles per hour in 15 seconds. How far would the car travel in these 15 seconds? Answer in miles.

Assuming acceleration is constant ...

\(\displaystyle \L \Delta x = \frac{1}{2}(v_0 + v_f)t\)

To get the displacement in miles, you're going to have to change 15 seconds into a fraction of an hour (it will be a small fraction).
