Just solving for y

y+y^2=t^(2)-4
I don't know how to solve for y

y[sup:2jfka01k]2[/sup:2jfka01k] + y -(t[sup:2jfka01k]2[/sup:2jfka01k] - 4) = 0

Treat the term (t[sup:2jfka01k]2[/sup:2jfka01k] - 4) as constant and solve the quadratic equation above.
