I need to solve this for a game I play, won't say the name of the game (unless you really want to know). Been out of school for so long I don't remember how to do this stuff. I think this is how this should be written, but I could be wrong.

11,000 - (1%)(x) = 0
-or-
11,000 less 1% times how many to get to zero?

However, you did not say or show that....

11000 - 0.01 * x = 0

0.01 * x = 11000

x = 11000/0.01 = 1,100,000
