Let a = Audrey's average

Now, Zena's average is 13 pins greater than Audrey's average. So, a + 13 would be Zena's average.

The sum of their averages is 299.

Audrey's average + Zena's average = 299

a + (a + 13) = 299

Ok....you and your friends should be able to solve that equation......
