I'm not sure where to post this - I hope I got the right board

I'm stuck with this: I got here but cannot move forward

a=(x-c)((x-c)/x)
I need to solve for x -

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Next step: ax = (x-c)^2 ; ok?
You'll end up with a quadratic.
