inverse trignometric functions and polar coordinates...help!

simplify arcsin( sin 30) and the 30 is in degrees ..... i do not even know where to start please help

Knowing where to START isn't the trouble on this one. It's already done. Ponder on the inverse function...f(f<sup>-1</sup>(x)) = x -- Hmmm...

Unless the poster has never before heard of inverse trig functions. Sometimes courses begin their studies in odd spots.... :shock:
