I need help with Interval Notation, I understand it with problems like 3 >x<5 but I am having trouble with problems that have multiple x's like 2(3x/2)>=x(1/4)

PS. >= is greater than or equal to

With what aspect of "interval notation" are you having difficulty?

I understand it with problems like 3 >x<5....
Then perhaps you could explain it, because I have no idea what "three greater than x less than five" is meant to say...?

but I am having trouble with problems that have multiple x's like 2(3x/2)>=x(1/4)
This "problem" is not any sort of interval (though its solution may be). Are you saying that your actual difficulty is in solving one-variable inequalities? Also, had the "greater than or equal to" been a simple "equals", would you have known how to proceed?

Thank you! ;)
