What is the interquartile range?
I know its suppose to be Q3- Q1. So if the median is 36.5, shouldn't it be that answer?
54.75-18.25= 36.5, but the answer is supposed to be 3, so how do you do this?

There are different definitions of quartiles. In this case, you have to assume that Q3=38 and Q1=35. Check your textbook. When data is discrete it is common to accept the smallest legal number as a quartile. In this case, since 025*26=6.5, you pick the 7th (smallest) value for Q1. Likewise, you pick the 20th value for Q3, which is 38.
