I want to know if I did this right and if I can factor further?

16b4(this is exponent 4) -54a3(cubed)b
I did this for my factoring:
b(16b3(cubed)-54a3(cubed)
=2b(8b2(squared)-27a3(cubed)

Did I do this right and if I did can I factor further and how?

Is this what you meant : \(\displaystyle 16b^4-54a^3b\)

\(\displaystyle (b)(16b^3-54a^3)\)---- Notice a^3 - b^3 = ???

I did this for my factoring:
b(16b3(cubed)-54a3(cubed) <<< Correct
=2b(8b2(squared)-27a3(cubed) <<< Incorrect

Did I do this right and if I did can I factor further and how?

16b[sup:26f8ilex]4[/sup:26f8ilex] - 54a[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex]b

= 2b * [ 8b[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex] - 27a[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex]]

= 2b * [(2b)[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex] - (3a)[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex]]

Now use

x[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex] - y[sup:26f8ilex]3[/sup:26f8ilex] = (x-y)(x[sup:26f8ilex]2[/sup:26f8ilex] + xy + y[sup:26f8ilex]2[/sup:26f8ilex])

and factorize further.
