if your trying find y you need to plug in a zero for x and then solve for y and the same goes with finding x you plug zero for y and solve for x

so 5(0)-3y=-30 so the 5 goes to zero and your left with -3y=-30 then to get y by its self you divide by the -3 so it should look like this y=-30/-3 so y=10

now do the same with the y, plug in zero so it should look like this, 5x-3(0)=-30 so the -3 goes to zero and your left with 5x=-30 then divide by 5 and you should have x=-30/5 which would be x=-6

you y=10 and your x=-6
