I am not sure if integrals fit into this subject, but hey I will try. I am trying to find the integral and I have my book open right in front of me. But I don't see any examples similiar to my problem.

I need to find the integral of 9x^-3 dx. My book give the rules of integration but I am not sure how to use them on this.

Can anyone tell me what I should do? Thanks.

INT xn dx = [1/(n+1)]xn+1 + C ... n not equal to -1.

INT 9x-3dx =

9*INT x-3dx =

9[(-1/2)x-2] + C =

-9/(2x2) + C
