can someone check my work

determine whether the following series convere or diverge. if they converge, find their sum if possible

sigma k^2/(2k+1)
k=1 to infinity

i used the divergence test

lim k^2/(2k+1)
k->infinity
lim k^2/(2k+1) = infinity
k->infinity

so it diverges
 
Correct, the series does diverge.
Compare with SUM(k). i.e. k<SUP>2</SUP>/k
