Solve each inequality, give its solution in interval, set, and number line notation

2x2 is less than or equal to 3 + 5x

I started by rearranging:

0 is greater or equal to 3+5x-2x2

Now I'm stuck, please help

2x2 ≤ 3 + 5x

2x2 - 3 - 5x ≤ 0

Now factorize the left-hand-side and continue.....

thanks, I got 3, -1/2 as my roots!

But that is NOT the solution of the problem given to you. You need figure out for what values of 'x' you can get 2x2≤5+3x ?

You got the roots of the function.

May be using your graphing calculator (or wolframalfa.com) plot y = 2x2- 5- 3x.

Where does the 'y' become negetive?
