Where can I find resources, online or otherwise, to help me practice with very advanced and sophisticated inequality problems? The kind of thing we're talking about involves absolute values, and an example is: |y| + |x| < 3; other examples of problems of this difficulty involve the quadratic formula, absolute values, and inequalities.
I own three textbooks. Although I feel I've done a reasonable job of working exercises in each, when it comes to inequalities and absolute values, none of them gets into examples, explanation, or practice to anywhere near the level of detail and sophistication I need. Here they are:
"Precalculus" Redlin/Watson/Stewart
"Precalculus" Sullivan" Sullivan
"Intermediate Algebra: Concepts and Applications" Bittinger/Ellenbogen
