May someone help. I have been looking for an example in my book and I can not find one.

In parallelogram ABCD, if mA= 5x + 30, and mD= x, find mC.

Use the properties of parallelograms. Specifically, what can be said about adjacent angles?

Eliz.

Is my answer correct?

5x + 30 + x= 180
6x + 30 = 180
6x = 150/6
x = 25

slope angle C + 25 = 180
slope angle C = 180 - 25
slope angle C = 155

Thank you for the help.
